Our client is a leading healthcare facility and teaching hospital in Southeastern Wisconsin. This innovative medical group is currently interviewing candidates for a key role in the Diagnostic Laboratories department.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the department’s Executive team. This person will act as the first point of contact in Administration/Human Resources, by greeting visitors, registering visitors when appropriate, and connecting visitors with the intended party. Major tasks for this role involve providing administrative support to key department personnel. This includes, mail distribution, filing, copying, calendar management, preparing agendas, attending meetings, and conference line scheduling.
Other duties will include maintaining current Workforce Orientation materials, preparing handbooks, room and refreshment set up, and coordinating special events. Additionally, this person will obtain requisition purchase orders and oversee support of special projects.
