Job Description


                                                               Billing Compliance Coordinator

Our client is a leading healthcare facility and teaching hospital in Southeastern Wisconsin. This innovative hospital is currently looking for qualified candidates to join their team as Billing Compliance Coordinator.

The Billing Compliance Coordinator will serve as a liaison for the Patient Financial Services, Finance, Compliance, and Revenue Producing Departments regarding billing compliance, charge capture, and regulatory updates.

This person will bill compliance activities with revenue producing departments to research charge, capture, and compliance requirements. This individual will also coordinate additions or changes, as well as assist in charge entry training. Other duties involve reviewing electronic billing software/RTP, distributing Medicare MLN Matters, managing of the Medicare ADR, and identifying denials, payments, appeals, and open issues.

Qualifications include:

  • Three to five years of hospital revenue cycle experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and other government regulatory agency guidelines.
  • A working knowledge of hospital information systems/charge master maintenance & review.
