Part Time – Bilingual Community Liaison
Our client, one of Wisconsin’s largest healthcare providers, has a need for a remote part-time employee to work between now and the end of this year. This company is interviewing qualified bi-lingual candidates to join their team for COVID prevention and support as a Bilingual Community Liaison.
The Bilingual Community Liaison will work with the company’s faith community nurse and other community staff to provide support for populations of patients identified as vulnerable or in need of faith-rooted care. This person will bring community members together, ensure alignment across partners, and promote equity and justice in community resources. This will involve linking community residents with services and serving as an advocate for policy and environmental change strategies. This individual will assist the organizations in addressing the social determinants of health.
The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships within the community and help people connect to available resources. This person will bring health information and support to the community, working across a network of congregations and faith-based organizations to create social cohesion across the community.
This person will ensure effective linking of faith-based efforts to improve community well-being. This involves connecting key programs, leaders, resources across community residents to enhance overall collaborative work with the goal of addressing the social conditions that impact community health and available services.
