                                                                  Global Category Analyst

Our client is one of the nation’s leading manufacturing companies, based in the Milwaukee area. This employer is currently interviewing qualified candidates for a key position on the Supply Management team.

The Global Category Analyst will be responsible for supporting product development by executing purchasing activity, developing and implementing commodity strategies or managing supply chain. This person will handle negotiations, contract management, and change management while measuring quality, cost, and delivery performance of all suppliers. This individual will serve as an interface between the supply management process and various activities within manufacturing.

 

Qualifications include:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  
• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Knowledge of Supply Management, Product Development, Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, or Supply Chain.
  
• Knowledge of cost element.
  
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; effectively work within a group or team and provide guidance.
