Job Description:

                                                         Housing Compliance Coordinator

Our client is a municipal department in Milwaukee County. Focused on residential construction and restoration projects, this employer is seeking a qualified, detail oriented professional to join the purchasing department.

The Housing Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for developing plans related to the Section 3 program. This will include managing contractor compliance with Section 3, developing programs, and preparing reports.

Additional duties include assisting contractors in preparing eligibility forms, maintaining compliance with Section 3/EBE procedures, and providing information to contractors regarding Section 3. This person will also assist in the preparation and submission of reports required for internal and external reporting.

This individual will develop job training and work preparation programs for residents, and perform community outreach and workforce development.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
  • Three or more years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
