Job Description:

                                                                Indirect Procurement Analyst

Our client is one of the nation’s leading manufacturing companies, based in the Milwaukee area. This employer is currently interviewing qualified candidates to join their logistics and procurement department.


The Indirect Procurement Analyst will be responsible for supporting Information Technology initiatives. This will be accomplished by developing and managing Indirect Procurement goods and professional services category, RFx Process, supplier selection, contract negotiation and contract management.

Duties involve strategically sourcing Indirect Procurement (IP) services utilizing best-in-class purchasing practices. This individual will facilitate legal terms and conditions negotiations with suppliers, multi-functional teams, and legal counsel, and development/implementation of multi-million-dollar year-over-year strategies to achieve category objectives. This person will assist in the creation, implementation and compliance of appropriate policies and procedures to ensure operations efficiency. Overall, this person will focus on supporting profitable growth and managing costs.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, materials management, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent
  
• Three or more years of demonstrated performance in competencies including IT procurement, Contract Negotiations, and/or Contract Management.
  
• Knowledge of lead negotiations and commercial contract law and guidelines, practices.
  
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, detail oriented, and teamwork skills.
  
• Advanced in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
