                                                                     Maintenance Manager

Our client, a highly recognized food manufacturer, is currently interviewing qualified candidates as a Maintenance Manager.

This highly visible role will be responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of maintenance related programs. This person will direct all reliability and maintenance activities to ensure that the plant is operating at its maximum productivity potential. This will include operation and project budget planning and managing.

This position will encompass all functions in the areas of Maintenance Business Management, Maintenance Materials Inventory, and Maintenance Process Reliability. This involves overseeing computerized maintenance management systems as well as preventive/predictive and corrective maintenance programs. The Maintenance Manager will set and evaluate departmental goals and objectives through a collaborative effort with maintenance departmental supervision, factory leadership teams, Regional Reliability Managers, and the Engineering Manager.

 
This person will ensure the safe execution of all maintenance and utility activities and demand that all plant activities are conducted following all safety procedures.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree; focus in Engineering or related technical field highly preferred.
  • Ten or more  years of maintenance engineering field or in a manufacturing environment. Including (5+) years Supervisory / Management experience (project management/PSM Management).
  • Prior experience in predictive/preventive maintenance programs and on TPM and/or Lean initiative.
  • Knowledge of Packaging/Mechanical Operations, Electrical maintenance, Instrumentation, Electronics/Controls, and Utility Systems;  as well as boiler and ammonia refrigeration (HVAC & Ammonia systems).
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office and CMMS experience and proficiency required
  • High level of attention to detail; Interpersonal and communications skills.
