Maintenance Planner and Buyer
Our client, a highly recognized food manufacturer, currently interviewing qualified candidates to join their Supply Chain department.
Working as a primary liaison between suppliers and manufacturing, the Maintenance Planner and Buyer will be responsible for scheduling, planning, and overseeing the maintenance work control processes. This includes managing work priority, developing job plans, defining crafts and skills, and engaging the proper resources.
Duties involve efficiently collecting and reporting data, reconciling purchase orders, and analyzing inventory discrepancies. This individual will create and monitor purchase orders for accuracy and compliance, request and receive price quotes from vendors, and compare quotes against requirements and budget. Other tasks include managing the status of work control and backlog for work completion, performing inventory reviews, and ensuring receipts and payments are processed accurately.
