Our client is a family business and private foundation seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented candidate to add to their team as an Office Administrator.
Office Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, bookkeeping functions, upholding legal requirements of compliance, and some small project management. With the greatest level of detail, service and professionalism, the ideal candidate will greet guests and clients, field calls with discretion and professionalism, and maintain office inventory levels. This person will also schedule and update calendars as well as coordinate meetings.
Duties include creating and managing files, maintaining database systems and assisting with research. Other responsibilities include drafting documents for special projects, presentations, and meetings. In addition, this person will update the website, process routine office requests, and communicate with grant applicants & grantees. Accounting duties may involve assisting with payroll, benefit activity and mail, bookkeeping policies/procedures. A high level of confidentiality is essential as the Office Administrator will maintain financial transaction records, and process/post transactions. This person will account for financial transactions, contribute to team efforts by accomplishing results as needed and will interact pro-actively/re-actively to in-person, email, mail, and telephone requests.
