Our client is a leading manufacturer in Southeastern Wisconsin. This industry leader is currently looking for qualified candidates for a Finance Manager position.
This individualwill provide business partnering, cost center management, and a diverse range of financial projects support to business leaders. This person will be the key financial contact for actual results, budgets, financial controls, and forecasts as they relate to the assigned area.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an active member of the assigned area’s leadership team.
- Provide awareness of financial & operational performance, and issues in order to deliver budgeted key measures.
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and strategic plan updates.
- Ensure all accounting complies with GAAP, financial systems and controls.
- Assist in Variable Compensation plan development, Fringe, and annual Plan Guideline analysis.
- Provide business leaders with support to plan/forecast, accurate accounting, and variance analysis.
Additionally, the manager will perform financial planning and reporting, financial analysis, insight, guidance, development, coaching to direct reports, and ensuring an appropriate control environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting is required. MBA or CPA preferred.
- SAP Certification a plus.
- Eight or more years of related experience – financial planning & analysis, project management. SAP Experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills; office productivity tools (spreadsheets, word processing, calendaring, and presentation software), general ledger systems, business objects or other reporting tools.
- Budget management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; managing multiple projects effectively.
