Part Time Logistics Manager
Our client is a medical device distribution company that specializes in representing cutting edge technologies to market. This company is interviewing qualified candidates to join their team as a Part Time Logistics Manager.
This warehouse professional will be responsible for the daily shipping and receiving, as well as weekly purchasing activities. This includes maintaining warehouse organization, monitoring warehouse supplies, and miscellaneous tasks.
Duties involve pulling product as listed on packing slip, verifying lot numbers/quantities on packing slip, scheduling local couriers for large shipments, and noting shipping charges on packing slips. Specific tasks include re-arranging stock locations, unloading skids, and arranging custom packs. This person will monitor inventory including ordering boxes/shipping tape and watching paper & toner levels. Other responsibilities may include generating purchase orders in the FACTS system, collecting confirmations from vendors, and tracking the shipping/receipts of goods.
This person will work with office staff to conduct quarterly physical inventories, monitor expiration dates on products, and provide backup for answering phones when office staff is occupied.
