Job Description

Patient Care Representative

Our client, one of Wisconsin’s largest healthcare organizations, is currently interviewing candidates for a Patient Care Representative to join their team. This person will provide clerical support and address account information to resolve patient inquiries.

The Patient Care Representative will be responsible for answering patient questions, which may include additional research to resolve billing issues, negotiating acceptable payment arrangements, and applying insurance discounts and adjustments, when applicable. In a timely manner, this trusted individual will pass on appropriate information to attorney offices, physician offices, insurance companies, and government agencies.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High school graduate/equivalent

  • At least six months Call Center experience
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior prioritization and organizational skills
