                                                                            Plant Manager

Our client, a highly recognized food manufacturer, is currently interviewing qualified candidates to join their leadership team in a highly visible role.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing activities and departments, including Operations and Maintenance. This person will also work closely with the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement departments. Other responsibilities for this position involve ensuring all packaging, shipping & receiving, and warehouse budgetary goals are met or exceeded. This individual will also ensure all products meet or exceed USDA standards using specified SOP methods.

Other duties involve overseeing the maintenance of the facility such as scheduling equipment and process areas, coordinating vendors, and establishing preventative maintenance programs. This person will partnering with the maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational. The Plant Manager will maintain a safe and clean working environment, and comply with Federal, State and Environmental regulations.

This individual will implement new and the best processes of production, including process improvement, problem solving to lower cost, and improve quality.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Business, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of plant management experience with multi-shift operations of over 100 employees.
  • Prior experience in in management handling labor relations and disciplinary actions.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to SQF culture of food safety and operational excellence.
  • High level of attention to detail.
