                                                             Transmitter Broadcast Engineer

Our client, known in the community by leading the local sports world, is interviewing qualified candidates to join their winning team as a Transmitter Broadcast Engineer.

This individual will be responsible for maintenance, emergency, and technical operations at all transmitter sites in accordance with FCC regulations. Priorities involve adhering to company policies to ensure world class delivery of content to the local communities.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to prioritize work, manage the stress of a high-pressure work environment and comply with all internal controls associated with the assigned duties.

Duties include operating and monitoring all WI station transmitters & towers. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing all technical and electronic equipment with a proactive approach to problem solving. Will accurately project capital expenditures and annual budgets and participate in FCC alternative inspections.


  • Associates degree in Broadcasting Engineering   or alternative technology-related field.
  • Five + years of experience in broadcast engineering.
  • Experience in safety, regulatory & compliance issues
  • Background creating instructional manuals & backup systems.
  • Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
