                                                                    Vice President of Finance

Our client is a municipal department in Milwaukee County. Focused on residential construction and restoration projects, this employer is seeking a qualified, detail oriented professional to join the finance team.

The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for providing overall leadership and management for the financial functions of the organization. This person will assist in the development of strategies and policies, provide financial guidance to management, and manage financial and regulatory risk. This will involve coordinating and managing Company budgets, monitoring and allocating budgets, preparing budget revisions, and reviewing budget calculations.

Additional duties include supervising staff, prioritizing and assigning work, and conducting performance evaluations. This individual will also manage department training sessions, hiring practices and termination procedures. This person will coordinate with Corporate Executives for finance, human resources, and information technology, ensuring proper financial management of all Property Management Contracts, including timely financial reporting to various investors.


Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • A minimum of ten years of related experience.
  • Experience in Construction and Real Estate industries preferred
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
