Our client, an industry leader in engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a Materials Supply Chain Analyst to join their team. This role sits within the Service division of the Materials group, supporting powertrain or chassis system service parts. Ideal candidates bring purchasing and project management experience—and a solid grasp of PPAP, APQP, engine assembly, or paint processes is a major plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead material and component development across plants and suppliers for new product launches
- Oversee project and purchasing activity for systems and components
- Manage cost modeling, process/product verification, and component validation
- Provide cross-functional support from concept through launch phases
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Utilize CAD tools (CREO and Windchill experience preferred)
Technical Experience:
- Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Project skills
- Procurement experience within an SAP environment
- Working knowledge of CAD software (CREO/Windchill preferred)
- Understanding of cost drivers in design and process
- Excel at project leadership and cross-functional coordination
- Bring sharp analytical thinking and supplier management skills
- Enjoy balancing technical problem-solving with strategic procurement
Work Schedule:
- Now–September 2: Remote (occasional on-site project meetings at the PDC)
- Starting September 2: Hybrid
- In-office: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (at the PDC)
- Remote: Mondays & Fridays
