Our client is an established company in the Milwaukee area. This employer is currently interviewing qualified candidates to assist with merchandising.
The Visual Merchandiser Associate will collaborate with the visual display and leadership team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive, energetic attitude, and a passion for home furnishing trends. This person will demonstrate the ability to handle detailed tasks and projects independently and strategically.
This position is Part-Time, requiring availability 3-4 days per week. The ability to work Saturdays would be helpful but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Visual Merchandise Team to plan and execute floor moves.
- Ensure the showroom floor is displayed and tagged properly on the sales floor.
- Maintain store appearance to merchandising and cleanliness standards.
- Assist Lead Members in attaining merchandising and operational objectives.
- Interact with customers and co-workers professionally while projecting a positive attitude and a sense of professionalism.
- Acknowledge and assist customers to ensure a positive and successful experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity.
- Participate in new store set ups and sales/visual meetings.
- Educate team on areas that have been re-merchandised (specific to sales floor, pricing and tagging).
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Previous visual display experience is required, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent handwriting, verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills; Math skills for calculating purchases.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
