Our client is a leading manufacturing company in the Greater Milwaukee area. This employer is interviewing qualified candidates to join their engineering department.
As a Process Engineer reporting to the Head Engineer, this person will have mechanical aptitude and be unafraid to roll up their sleeves and delve into the intricacies of production on the shop floor. This person will be responsible for assisting with Committed Access Rates for high scrap jobs with assistance from Plant Foreman, General Manager, and Quality Team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluation of scrap and other non-conformities.
- Providing support in initial start-up of new jobs.
- Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the production floor.
- Review of job files before production.
- Organize work assignments.
- Track experiments and production orders through the departments; obtaining and analyzing the results.
- Create process changes based on experiment results and the General Manager’s approval.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or related experience.
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of wax, shell, foundry and finishing procedures preferred
- Proficient Experience in 3D Models.
